In meetings with Dr. Whitman they talked a good deal about the older Colorado customs from Colorado Territorial (pre-statehood) days.
Since Forrest was coming from the Gilpin County Fair where he'd done his impersonation of our first Territorial Governor, William Gilpin he was dressed for the part. The guests enjoyed doing the old Colorado promise from 1860 and laughed a lot at the first question....Do any of you know of any reason why Molly and Brandon should not....and Forrest quickly moved on!
